Libya

[Associated Press photo]

In Libya,
the news said
this morning,
"The wounded
come in,
both rebels
and soldiers.
The doctors
treat them all,
as their
humanitarian
and ethical duty,
for they
are all
Libyans."

Yes, they are
all Libyans and,
when
they bleed,
they all bleed
with the
same blood.

  1. If they could only see that...no more wars.

  2. I am so infuriated that the US is sending troops into this situation. All that happens when we intercede with "good intentions" is that more people die... more efficiently. The War Machine must end. This was brilliant writing and really got my Irish up. Good work Amy

  4. This is wonderful, Koko. You bring it out so well in a deceptively simple way but actually with so much a complex message for us humans.
